For as long I can remember, I have been creating, doodling or making something. If you asked me in Kindergarten what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have said "artist or book illustrator." (In the fifth grade, I'd've said "lawyer" but this was short-lived! I promise!) If it meant I could draw all day, I wanted to do it. The point is, I've wanted to make art my whole life.
I love to paint landscapes with rolling hills, but mostly I love to paint dogs and other animals. I love their honest reactions and expressions. Of course, drawing a cute animal is wonderful too! Lots of puppy kisses and cuddles after painting or drawing session.
If I'm not painting, drawing or doodling in some margin, I'm probably cooking a new recipe. Or hiking with my dog.
